We want every article on IMPS to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Use the contact form and choose “Report a mistake”. Include the link to the article, what you think is wrong and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information.
What happens next
- We review every report.
- If we confirm a factual error, we correct the article.
- For significant corrections, such as a wrong statistic, a wrong helpline number or information that could affect someone’s health, we add a note at the end of the article saying what changed and when.
- Spelling and small wording changes are made without a note.
Helpline numbers come first
A wrong helpline number can stop someone getting help, so we treat reports about helplines as urgent.
